Maybe Pak's called off deal 2 but wants to put a counter offer in deal 3 and needs another 1 month of being dined.
GMC should disclose exactly how much they've spent on this guy (including flights of the CEO, accommodation, and those silly shirts he wears - no wonder Pak isn't taking him seriously. He should have been in a formal suit if there were any serious negotiations being discussed. He isn't being paid to be on holiday).
