The more I analyse this report, the more enthused I become.

There is the prospect of 10% copper over 8 metres at 231ms in FD1. I know that malachite is copper affected by the elements - oxidised. I also know that chalcocite is enriched copper somewhere between the oxide zone (malachite for example) and the primary zone (chalcopyrite) and that such an enriched zone can sometimes produce direct shipping ore (DSO). This happened at both Horseshoe Lights and DeGrussa.

So, the question that I am asking myself is: why chalcocite?

As for the visible 5% bornite in the 3 sections between about 380ms and 420ms in FD2, all I can think of is the 40m zone that contains it and also the bornite at Monty. This is from Portergeo: The Monty deposit at Springfield, 9 km east of DeGrussa was discovered in 2015 at a depth of 410 m within the same host sequence. It had a maiden resource (March, 2016) of 1.05 Mt @ 9.4% Cu, 1.6 g/t Au, comprising an elongate massive sulphide core containing 0.736 @ 12.1% Cu, 2.1 g/t Au, surrounded by a halo of 0.287 Mt @ 2.2% Cu, 0.3 g/t Au (Talisman Resources, 2016). So, the depth is about the same, not that there is anything definitive about that.

So, the question that I ask myself is: could this be an ore body in the making?
