plus in the industry not all projects are open tender. most of the bigger projects only selected companies are chosen to be allowed on the tender list. michael bourke should use his mining network to get onto the tender list or more importantly get projects through negotiated contract without the need of tendering against competitors through his mining network. if this is not the case then nomad employing him is a fail....
Nomad best bet is to replace michael bourke with a worthy directory who has built and maintain a good relationship with lots of mining companies, done lots of projects for a variety of mining clients, but has also the BACKGROUND IN BUILDING. This way the new director can use his extensive building and mining network along with his knowledge of how the BUILDING INDUSTRY WORKS to start to rebuild the reputation of nomad which has been severely damaged within the industry..
Given that most camps are modular buildings i do not understand how nomad are not picking up more camps. Maybe they need to find cheaper materials or just outsource their modular buildings. because i know it was a competitors price was cheaper then nomad buildings for the modular buildings. or alternatively seek a way to reduce the manufacture of the modular building to reduce the cost on the supply side to get a better chance of winning tenders and making more margin.
