The KLL NAIF deal set a precedent, it might not benefit SO4 but it will benefit other companies. The deal showed to what extent NAIF funding is project specific rather than beneficial to the wider community. I find it interesting that NAIF is funding a project and site specific airstrip that almost certainly has no benefit to anyone other than KLL. The same could be said of the gas pipeline. I assume the talk of supplying SOP to the domestic market was the reasoning. NAIF funding for road upgrades that are open to use by the general public would imo be more easily justified.
