Don't you have to be solvent to start trading again on ASX?

Companies in USA can declare bankruptcy (Ch 11) and still trade on an exchange (mostly OTC where we are now). There is no US Federal law prohibiting trading in securities of bankrupt companies.

Does anyone actually think SSN can pay its debts when they fall due (already in default event with bank).... ergo will SSN ever trade again on ASX? What was the purpose of the consolidation ... putting lipstick on a pig?

I just don't get what's taking all this time?

Does no one wants the asset? 

Does Ch 7 (Liquidation) not even cover the bank debt?
