They might be slowly drilling a hard stuff which could be a decent interception of pegmatite. We don't know time will tell.
On TD-003 the drilling encountered both saprolite clays and weathered granite with pegmatite stringers from the surface to 32m. Even this part was not so soft. Then a foliated hornblende granite with pegmatite stringers throughout was intersected from 32m to the end of the drill hole to 142m. Otherwise it would be easy to drill the soft stuff.
