"26M (DOWN HOLE THICKNESS) PEGMATITE DRILLED IN TD 003 Highlights:

• Drill Hole TD 003 complete.
• 26m (down hole thickness) pegmatite drilled in TD 003.
• Drill Hole TD 004 commenced.
• Core being processed in preparation for transport to assay lab in Perth, Western Australia.

Greenpower Energy Ltd (ASX: GPP) and the company’s joint venture partner Guyana Strategic Minerals (GSM) are pleased to announce the completion of cored drill hole TD 003 at their Turesi Prospect in the Morabisi PGGS tenement in Guyana.

The drill hole was completed on 26 April 2018 at 142.5m. The drilling encountered saprolite clays and weathered granite with pegmatite stringers from the surface to 32m. A foliated hornblende granite with pegmatite stringers throughout was intersected from 32m to the end of the drill hole.

The stringers ranged in thickness up to 100cm (down hole width). Between 61.7m and 87.7m (down hole depth) a 26m (down hole width) massive pegmatite showing varying amounts of silicification was intersected. Any further comments about this pegmatite will be made once the analyses are to hand and we will be able to make informed commentary.

The drilling operations are proceeding smoothly despite the rain with drilling rates continuing at around 30m per day. The drill rig has been skidded to Pad TDH_P11. TD 004 is being drilled at coordinates 234165E 648711N. It has an azimuth of 014 degrees true and a dip of 60 degrees.

The planned length of TD 004 is 140m. Cutting of the core from TD 003 has started. All the core from TD002 has now been cut and the half core has been shipped from Turesi Camp to Georgetown for pulp preparation.

Pulps will then be airfreighted to Nagrom Laboratories in Perth Western Australia for analysis.

The remaining half cores from all the drill holes are being stored at Turesi base camp.

Greenpower Executive Chairman, Gerard King commented: “The geological results from TD 003 have exceeded expectations. The massive pegmatite cut in this drill hole potentially will reflect the mineralization seen during trenching. We expect analytical information from hole TD 003 in early June. No analytical results are available at present and commentary to date is based principally on visual assessment of core.”
