re: Ann: Completion of Senior Loan Refinancin... The "cut 'em loose" theme occured to me also when I read the announcement.
I think it is more an exercise in brinkmanship than a threat ... it would not be received by the broader market very well if management did not at least appear to do all things necessary to restore value for all and sundry (including parasitic lenders!).
If as inferred the fund can legally sever these SPC's then I would not be surprised that AJA activley works to re-negotiate the parameters of these facilities (including some debt for equity swap with the financiers) thereby securing some value increment without any change in underlying asset value.
In my view, the inference would bode well for AJA. Face saved for all and sundry.
