Surely this an over reaction, this is only the first hole of a maiden drilling campaign.
As you have mentioned trees and branches, maybe just a tree shake to force weak hands, and accumulation going on. The big boys want in and they are getting the shares cheap

Does anyone know, if this first hole was targeted as the most prospective (best from where they got the grab samples) or just the closest to the river so less dragging of the drill rig?

Hopefully the assays come back good.....
