It is not that simple anymore unfortunately.

The project has value but it's not going to fly anywhere but out the back door IMO.

The project has become the King in a game of chess between the shareholders of a mining exploration company and marauding raiders and at the moment the raiders opening gambit is working to perfection.

Shareholders are left defenceless by the system. If Hawkes Point have nothing there is nothing we can do.

I think the reason they changed the status of the companies they previously raided (ie Neon and Indago) to ASX investment companies was to get around the "cash box" rules so they could play their games with share buy-backs, consolidations and liquidity, ie to prevent ASX from forcing them to return the cash to shareholders or reinvesting it. The history of these raiders is to sack the village and then hang around and cruelly torment the villagers for months and years before making off with the spoils.
