Yep, that's not the ATO and not an official ruling.
2018/1 was the closest clarification and certainly does not dissuade from selling one day and buying back on a completely different day.
I would agree buying and selling at practically the same time or moments later, however the risk and uncertainty of doing so the next day is exceptionally unlikely to qualify.
