I wondered for a moment whether they might have had a typo and hit the "d" key instead of the "g" key as they certainly have been getting a grilling. However, the word "drilling" was used in context with Malamute and Husky so you would have to presume that they were definitely talking about drilling a few holes by Christmas.

They obviously had failed to check the cash register or else did and decided to ignore the reality and go ahead with their announcement about drilling before Christmas just to "gee" up the shareholders. 

Hmmmm. Seems very similar to what they are attempting to do with this 15th Jan announcement where they are wringing their hands and offering their "sincere" apologies to their wonderful and hopefully understanding shareholders that they treasure so much and who have been suffering so wrongfully from this prolonged suspension that that nasty ASX has imposed quite arbitrarily. Just so cruel of them. 

Well Dr Ellingford I for one don't buy it. I think there are a good number of other shareholders here who don't buy the crocodile tears either.
