Well HDY is hardly going to give a largely negative response and I am surprised at how many punters have taken the response at face value. In the circumstances I think we have to acknowledge that HDY has probably requested its legal team to come up with a response that presents as positive an image as possible. I don't know that the ASX will be that convinced by the suggestion that some of the decisions taken were the result of a misunderstanding or some administrative mistake. Certainly there is an attempt to put as much gloss on the information supplied as possible. Whether the ASX will accept the dazzling gloss or whether they will detect rust beneath the dazzle remains to be seen.The fact that at the end of the response HDY throws itself on its knees before the ASX and begs mercy for the company because it is concerned about all the small shareholders that it has on its register smacks a fair bit of crocodile tears in my opinion
So if the ASX isn't swayed by HDY's appeal then what hope has VIC got of having the suspension lifted.
