Beach have their own problems to deal with, and, as far as a script offer goes, how would exchanging DLS for Beach shares help anyone?
If takeovers happen, it will be international with deep pockets exploiting the lower australian dollar and depressed prices of energy stocks. Think Chevron, BP etc. Everyone else is thinking about cutting CAPEX, not going on buying sprees. Also, financial markets are tightening for energy firms, so not so easy to fund takeovers by issuing notes.
