It's not that I don't like it I just think that the reasoning of all the other calls for a takeover was unsubstantiated wishful thinking by traders wanting to make a quick buck.
In any event all the calls for a takeover (2 or more years worth) never eventuated and I don't think BPT has the firepower to do it anyhow as they have some risky assets in Africa made even more riskier now.
As I have said before I'm not against takeover as long as their is fair value given and I don't think BPT are currently capable.
I just simply take the opposite view of the T/O merchants out there and simply ask them - why?
