Shortly before the hearing the conservation groups lodged and appeal to the Supreme Court against the decision of the High Court to proceed on 16 July as ordered.
The Zambian Govt and the Company is now making an application to set aside the notice of appeal. As a result the High Court adjourned the matter to 23 July on which date there will be further arguments as between the parties to the appeal.
