A few interesting notes from todays presentation by Richard in Sydney:
- The company is in deep discussions with agchem companies, NGOs, Government agencies globally and the interest has been significant. The company is targeting multiple deals which will progress simultaneously. Potentially split by different verticals/pests/geographies.
- Upcoming partnerships will have defined milestones to commercialisation with testing to be done in lockstep with the company. Virbac situation won't be repeated.
- Partnership testing will primarily be around formulations and dosage rates with Flavocide likely to slot into existing chemistries to maximise coverage. Commercial arrangements are typically brought to the table 12 months from the partnership commencing.
- The company will be publishing a peer-reviewed journal and then submitting to IRAC next year to be formally recognised as a novel compound. There are only five Modes of Action currently in use, we have the latest compound.
- Qcide is in demand, agchem companies are wanting to market a greener solution to their customers. Watch this space.
The company is working very hard behind the scenes. This is similar to a biotech play without efficacy risk and fundamentals already in place, not to mention a huge $31.5B USD+ insecticide market as the incentive.
