but I'd imagine Jalaspen is correct. The potential in-ground value will have little bearing on the negotiated compensation figure. That will be calculated IMO on the likely returns associated with such activities by a typical small mining company - and is likely to be a very far cry from the dreams of hundreds of millions of dollars some are hoping for.

If I had to make a guess on compo quantum then something in the order of $5-$10m would be in the ball park. Even that is probably generous. If the compo was really significant, why the company hint at a CR? you'd also have to hope that the compo deal was done and dusted before any CR anyway.

IMO the compo deal will be a token amount which the company will have to accept or face many years of litigation which is beyond NTM's means.

whichever way it goes it would be good to see everything finalised. It's sure been a while.....
