I am trying to grapple with the next 3 to 5 years. There are many reports about it. It seems to suggest that there is a 3 to 5 year window before any real new fields can deliver. I have seen a few suggestions that the shale at volume really only pushes this gap at prices above $70 per barrel.

I am led to believe that the electric car is a 2020's thing and really more likely the latter half of that decade. So really I am not sure but it does look like there will be a bunch of offshore/ Onshore developments needed to bridge the gap. Interested to hear others views - I have been watching this share but just not sure that it hasn't seen its best days behind it...
