Thanks, Jimmy. This will certainly help.
It's quite easy to understand (now) that how naive the majority of retail investors are by looking at posts in hot copper, general chit chat with friends and colleagues, and looking at my own investing decisions of the past. No wonder why so many people are unable to realise the complexities surrounding investing.
Can I ask you another question? If the answer is yes, 'Do you have an accounting/trading background or did you learn this outside your main job/profession?' Are there books [materials] that one can read to better educate himself in valuing businesses?
I am a full time academic and will be studying some of the general investing posts by Adam [that he was kind to share as answers to some of my questions] to start educating myself.
