BBI - $6B project in the Pilbara, major private investor, lower quality ore, Australian connections (FMG), a very long life ahead of the project.
So if the TNG board were looking to strengthen the share register with strategic, long term investors, not the finance houses that will sell down on a pip to lock in a profit, why didn't they offer BBI a 5% stake for a 20% discount & if Vimson were so important to get on board, offer them the other 5%.....
.... Or Downer......
....Or Sumitomo......
....Or CAT......
....Or Woojin.....
....Or Hyundai...
...Or POSCO....
Which presents an even greater dilemma as putting this under the spotlight has me no longer simply questioning capability of the board to achieve the best outcome which means being able to drive a really difficult project forward, to a situation where when things get tough, whether they will make decisions in which I can trust their stated reasons for doing so. Good or bad.
