I suspect that any relationship with Indian connections were being tested (at best) with continual and lengthy delays that were seemingly inexplicable and contrary to ongoing assurances and public utterances. And that these relationships, were not founded in convivial friendships, but in the belief that NSL/IOR would be an active and growing producer/supplier/employer by now. If my theory is correct, then the recent actions will only serve to strengthen these relationships in time. Business is Business and Politics is Politics. Neither forces would have enjoyed the ongoing delays and uncertainty of outcome. IMO.
