Quick look around in different states to see what happens when the fleets are auctioned off and saw a cleanaway one as a example. Hope it is a odd one out or should read 1 million 3 hundred thou.

I was surprised that it had only has traveled 350000 in 10 years. Maybe it was a country town one or??? At that many km I thought it would just be run in. Maybe it was for a specific contract and they get rid of them at a certain age or KM regardless as they can't get a lease on them? Seems crazy to sell of such a underused truck so cheap as newer ones aren't that much more efficient. Hmmmm

Obviously the heavier the usage the more ABV shines so the harder 6 day a week domestic council bin routes it does the better.

The margin on retrofit would be greater especially when the other option is you are dealing with a closed vertically integrated shop of cleanaway as they can load costs at any level of their business. But sometimes you have to do it to get your product out there.

Really hope they publish the results and benefits of the demo trucks ( and are allowed to) so the stats can be used to show just what the savings are.

Does anyone know the cost of the brakes for a garbage truck as a retrofit installed?
