This is why they are shallow, lightning.

"The programme aims to test the 6km of prospective strike between Wodger and Big Billy, and is designed to provide geochemical coverage of an area that has never previously been tested."

This (aircore) is usually the first line of attack drilling-wise. If it's positive in the sense that it is mineralised then more exploration will happen, and that would either be reverse cycle (RC) or diamond (D).

Geophysical testing could happen along the way, either surface electromagnetic/EM (FLEM eg) or down hole EM (DHEM).

All that said, aircore (AC) drilling can hit a shallow area of high interest sometimes, as per SFR/AUR in early june at Morcks Well https://thewest.com.au/business/min...cks-well-high-grade-copper-hits-ng-b88857958z.

Btw, DeGrussa was really found with RC.

The ideal here with AUR would be to hit the good primary stuff with the AC, but the odds would be very very big. The norm, if mineralisation is there, would be for secondary/weathered min'n to be found in the AC, then that area would be tested with RC, D then maybe DHEM looking for the primary or unaltered minerals. That's the prize!! That's the time-tested way - hopefully we would then here the cry 'Eureka!!'
