How many motherlodes did you hit in your field career whatsup?

We know that there are sulphides at Wodger - copper sulphides too.

Some of us old stagers here (or former old stagers such as @shimmer) knew that copper had been found at Big Billy in the early 1980s by Homestake before it became 'common' knowledge. That info was hidden in a very hard-to-find Gleneagle Gold prospectus in the geo's report. There was 5ms of the stuff at the end of a 100m drill hole, but in those days explorers were only after gold in this area. Therefore, this copper find was not considered of any real interest.

Much later on, more copper was found at Wodger (Grosvenor or Gleneagle - I forget) but the company concerned was not interested as it was looking just for gold. In those days, it was ok to leave drill chips on the ground. RNI found them some years back. There are photos of it in the relevant report.

That same company (G or G) drilled for gold at Forrest Gimp but missed the copper below, which RNI then discovered.

So, looking at this area copper-wise based on these findings, copper had been found over a period of time along about an 8km stretch - vms copper too.

AUR is the only company to have explored for copper in this area, same with Cashmans.
