In the short term, I'm a bit pessimistic towards this company. My feeling is the shareprice may drop below the 5 cent level over the next few months.
I like the idea of a company that combines aquaculture and environmental services: it gives them a bit of diversification and reduces some of the inherent risks in aquaculture.
However, the current political environment means that in the short term the CO2 group can't rely much on its traditional carbon business to support them as they make the move into aquaculture. So to a large extent, they are on their own and in unfamiliar territory.
I doubt the company is going to collapse any time soon, but I think it is likely that they may need to initiate a capital raising sometime in the next couple of years, given the demanding nature of aquaculture.
