Glad that I’ve seen this post cause that explains a lot.

Unfortunately that’s what happens when you mix science with politics.

i.e.voters with no scientific knowledge whatsoever think they get to believe in climate change (or any other scientific issue for that matter). Science is about facts not what you believe in.

As someone who spent most of his career in that area, it saddens me when I hear people saying I don’t believe in this or that (this or that being a highly specialised scientific field). I guess too much democracy can be a terrible thing.
