@HAC30 I really do like my conversations with you two , its not nasty in anyway , and it pushes me to question myself and my own understanding of a situation clear.png So I thought bugger it Ill ring the main man himself and ask him what he's being paid, not just VEC , but the others also.
:VEC no salary taken this FY as deal not yet closed. ( 5k/month )
:4CE no salary taken since Sept as share price has fallen so significantly and I have also agreed to halve my salary - backdated to September and agreed to take it 100% in shares ($8k/month)
:Not taking a salary at WFE as that is suspended and no salary will be taken until it comes out of suspension. ($5k/month).
MSE salary is being taken ($4k/month) as actively identifying and working on transactions there and similarly so with TAO ($4k/month).
100% of GLV salary is being donated to DRC charities. ( 5k/Month )
I ask if other could call to verify these figures , that is not a problem was the reply . Call me directly , very happy to discuss any company issues you may have !
Hope this was of some interest guys ! So I think that works out at 8k per Month being received ( taken out donated fees ) and wages being frozen or just not taken at all !
I enjoy our dialogue as well its nice to have a balanced conversation on here.
Interesting with all of that information you have given - would be good to be announced to the market (not just for VEC) as it shows they are aware of cashflow and performance and are actively reducing outflows - also announcing it would make it official.
I still do think we should include donated fees as at the end of the day if you have a company with $1mil in cash and they donate $500k then the company you own still has only $500k left... Kudos to him for donating the fees he clearly cares about the people of the DRC and is attempting to build connections.
As I have stated at no point am I saying (or have said) that I don't think JB is a hard worker but I do believe he is well remunerated for all of his hard work - if/when he decides to take payment again that's $468k pa. in fees + whatever share incentives he receives.
At the end of the day if we start seeing some sustained share price movement then I am sure this would become a moot point.
Cheers.
