    The reason you incentivise and time bound the incentive is to put focus on getting the job done I would have thought. I would imagine as the date got closer the urgency and effort increased or it could be a case it was already over the line and just left until last minute to finalise/announce.
    Don't really care when as long as it was done.
    As shareholders we employ our directors to work on our behalf. If not happy we can vote them out. If happy we can vote to provide performance incentives etc. Small retail holders might not have much clout individually but we have witnessed many times what the collective can achieve if directors don't perform.
    I agree that JB is incredibly hard working. The results of that hard work hopefully come and benefit all shareholders. The difference of course is he can't just dump shares and move on when he feels like it.
    Damned for having a beer with shareholders, damned for not keeping shareholders informed, damned for previous unrelated issues. Damned if I would do it!
