Seriously - once we can all get over the laughing at them having to make that clarifying statement, we can welcome AMG to the rest of the exploration community whom already knew that Cobalt should be reported in ppm (in low grade concentrations) or as a % if high enough grades are found. Just like Copper is usually reported in a % amount and precious metals such as Au Ag and Pt are reported in g/T.

I don't know how many times I emailed the company telling them to honour the convention and report Co in ppm or in % (because that's what comes from the lab anyway) but it seems that either they were sick of the enquiries, or someone in ASX compliance had a quiet word with them.....

Very embarrassing considering that the gold story that they do have to tell to the market is actually pretty decent, and now instead the markets thinking "these guys don't even seem to understand the typical industry conventions of assay reporting".
