Everyone has to manage tax. Best to allow for it as you go. Tax can be minimised so everyone has a different tax problem. However you only pay tax down the track and, even though the tax man is greedy he does not take the lot and in the end the more you pay the better because it means the more you made. Income splitting or partnership trading is possible and can help.
In my case the profit funds tax deductable R&D and some other deductable expenditure. I still pay a heap of tax and allow for it as I go.
