life is long. The US dollar won't last forever and one cyber attack will sort out bitcoin.

A block of gold will always be what it is and have a cost to produce.

I seriously doubt if thousands of years of stored value culture is going to evaporate because of a US dollar which is printed at whim and an internet currency.


but, who knows?
