St Barbara has been resilient for a long time and their comeback from their Solomon Islds experience has been nothing short of great. Just a few of the main points of difference between SBM and AVQ IMO are 1:they are a focused and dedicated mineral explorer 2:they understand the steps to progress from an explorer to a mining house 3:they have always had a diversified and highly experienced mining industry BoD 4:during their troubled times no one was taking exhorbinant salaries from a limited cash on hand bank balance. They still don’t. 5: the Co deliberately avoided throwing tens millions of shareholders $$$ into a litigation situation that had 1 of 2 possible outcomes, neither outcome being short or long term beneficial to its shareholders 6: the Co BoD knew and recognised when and how to steer a new path to success 7: their BoD have demonstrated their astuteness in identifying and acquiring exciting new assets in new areas to build on. 8: their BoD have never lost their touch with or cut off their ability to seek and gain ongoing market sentiment even during really tough times. There are many more things they do so well that AVQ has not even a clue about. AVQ has no one at the helm or even on board with worthwhile mining industry experience.
