If you are an investor you are crapping in your own nest. Since when has Australia funded its infrastructure with local money? APA for example has hundreds of millions tied up in foreign loans and investment.
Based on the fact that some of the board have Chinese appearances seems to have the Greens in a knot. APA has been undervalued for years because it is not a sexy stock. Now when some investors see its value you want to dump on them.
No doubt the Future Fund already owns a chunk of APA. If they want to throw in a bid, of course I would welcome that as well.
Watch all the numpties who never even heard of APA before today come out of the woodwork
