Bill KCN and CHN are not that comparable so it depends what kind of company you are looking for (KCN 155 million Australian dollars market cap verses 33).

A couple of alarm bells ring for me over KCN as well why the dramatic slump of over 80 percent in the share price in a company that is an actual producer? Another is the political situation in Thailand which is not good and could overshadow the shareprice of mining companies there.

Having a quick look there seems to be some doubt over the actual profitability of their current operations as well.

So it becomes how good are the projects in the pipeline compared to the current market cap and will progress on them be slow as the company struggles with the challenges at its current operations? Is it the right time to invest there?

I think there are a couple of pluses at Chalice they have very carefully picked the new projects (taking a long time to do so) and have a good track record on the geo side and there is maybe more potential upside with the share with the lower market cap than KCN.

Not going to say investing in KCN would be a bad move though, as i do not know enough about the company obviously if i was going to consider investing there i would do at least several days research and ask some questions on the KCN hotcopper board.
