The reality is, there's more information in the heads of certain geologists who have worked in this area extensively than there is in the GSWA mapping. But not everyone has seen every rock. So I take GTE's interpretations on face value, and try to relate it to what I have seen in the basin (full disclosure,I work for a company with a project in this area, and no you won't find out who). This is mow my 4th go in the area.

I have invested in some competitor companies, made a bit here and there, and lost a small amount on Riva, because I was wrong. C'est la vie.

There's still a lot of potential. But getting punters hyped up for a few weeks only for it to evaporate when the next drill hole fails is not my favorite way of exploring. We need geo's to be trusted with a long term strategy based on good science - we all know what happens when the market gets overdone on very risky stuff (eg; Riva).

Cheers - I'm a hydro-geo in SA and there are plenty of good online resources if you know where to look, and know how to use effectively i.e SARIG. Need to get off my ass and look into the WA alternative. The map sheets are only as good as the decade they were first published.
