You've certainly sounded a timely note of caution. There might be something big and dense down there but there's nothing to say whether it's a mesothermal deposit or a volcanic intrusion. Both would trend along fracture lines as shown in the image.
What would you feel would provide the best value as a next step? We've got one for for drilling, so far. What about resistivity or a magneto-telluric survey?
