The Chinese will probably take whatever they can from some collaboration. Possibly copy some information and add to it, thereby avoiding patent infringement. What do I know.?
But This company has been plugging away for years, and shareholders are the only ones stuck. The directors, scientists, pr men, everybody make money....but you. There will be a CR again for sure...to make sure everyone gets paid. A few more ann. to get everybody primed to cough up in anticipation of a better future.
