I have a theory.

If you look at Sue Klose’s employment history on LinkedIn, for the past 11 years, she seems to only prefer to work in one location, “Sydney”.

Perhaps with Nearmap taking on an International foot print, more International traveling will be required. Due to the traveling demands of the CMO, naturally there is a conflict between what the role requires and what Sue prefers.

Obviously Sue left the Greater Chicago Area back in 2007 and settled in Sydney for a reason so perhaps she is not keen in settling back (either permanently or even temporarily) in the US anytime soon.
