Using my own data, DUI is the best of the old large cap investment LICs. It just keeps in front of the ASX300accum and if you can use franking credits it would put you further in front (my ASX300acc data only goes back to May 2001 - anyone know where I can find further back?)

It is interesting that its stable-mate AUI has a similar portfolio but does not perform as well. They have slightly different investment briefs. DUI has the ability to gear up a little bit (currently less than 10%) which I suspect boosts performance.

I would be interested if they ever get cheap.
