MLX, obviously having problems adding up 1+1=2. You'd have to be a complete idiot not to be able to add up shares during a takeover bid. Its the sort of thing that I'd expect ABY would do.
There must be one or two large holders in the mix as ABY has less than 100 shareholders who hold 100,000 +
I'd bet that ABY Directors aren't feeling so smug now, they'll need to pull a rabbit out of the hat if they don't want the other 30.76% of ABY shares not held by Hindalco Ind Ltd to jump ship.
ABY Directors don't actually support the company, all they want is the lucrative Director Remuneration as they don't own a single share.
ABY Directors and ABY Investor Relations don't even reply to investors, rather typical of Indian hob nobs.
The way this takeover is playing out ABY Directors will be out of a job soon enough. No more big Director salaries.
One thing that really strikes you about these ABY Directors, they might miss a few Director meetings but they always show up for the Remuneration Committee meetings.
