There's some interesting information in regards to NMC batteries on TLG who are claiming amoungst other things there battery can be fully charged in 3 minutes and withstand 3000 charge cycles before the start of battery degradation which is the problem with current technology batteries so if UTR can come up with something even better than 3000 cycles or improved volts or density they are on the right track to prove the concept while applying for a patent(s) so whelk see how it all plays out in the end.
UTR also has titanate anode technology so now I'm stumped whether this goes with the NMC battery or its a seperate technology battery along with UTR own electrolyte that makes the battery last longer and improves the volts even over Toshiba's Mitsubishi titanate batteries which have been in manufacture for over a decade ?
Of note here is NMT have just sold assets and now have over $100m in the bank at higher than there MC to advance there Kalgoorlie lithium processing factory and Barrambie vanadium/titanium tenement so is this in anticipation of new technology comming to hand re UTR ? as they'd know more than us.
Don't underestimate the scooters as it's a great start and proving ground it's just it would be nice to see something that's actually working on UTR's limited budget after all and I can rememember pre 2000 I think when Mitsubishi first titanate battery powered evo 4wd with a electric motor in each wheel came out there was also about that time a two wheel car with a titanium roll cage that could withstand a head on at 200km/h which is what it's designed to cruise at and there ain't even no infrastructure for it yet so are your Israeli counterparts gearing up for this one with patents ? not to mention minimisising the use of hydrocarbons and cutting in on there cashflow ?
