This post is a clear, sober .........and technology business experienced\oriented description, of a company that is insolvent on paper, would fail both Canadian V and US Pink Market "going concern metrics", and should never have gone public in the first place, a point proven by these negative numbers and the historical timeline.
Current management was handed an untenable position in July 2016,it is simply impossible to rebuild an airplane while in flight, while playing in a domestic market, and an international potential market, that was, and is, roiled by some of the most complex political factors to ever be thrown at the American Telecom Infrastructure market.
The Chinese steal American technology, so that all they have to invent is a way to hack it, see Huawei, a straight rip off of Cisco IP, with an added Encryption back plane installed, in the power augmented side of all the the appliance.
Telstra only does, what the Five I's Treaty tells them to do, which is why NBN, to this day, is such an embarrassment.
You were kind to not mention the obvious question of why Telstra does not jump back in and grab this product.....which is doing so well in the Authoritarian market of the Peoples Republic of China, so obviously the data back door must already be in place, thus complying with the ground breaking, and necessary new Australian Cyber reg, as everyone knows, a backdoor, is a prereq in the China network.
Now when sales figures are released, when the IP value is declared, as a collateral function in the loans from GEM, we will see what is going on.
Why we do not know that yet, why Compliance folks are not demanding that they disclose it after promising it in December, is just background color.
In 2011, the Patent, and potential derivative filings, and the product Beta, a Beta later to become the delivered Telstra product, a decent offering that languished under appreciated, this Iwebgate product, and the awarding of a legit European acknowledgment, in that year, this technology was viewed as an architectural network security game changer.
The current managers were not involved with the company,at that junction, in any way shape or form.
Mores the pity.
Martin has been clear and fair with his questions, inquiring minds want to know, what say thee Iwebgate.
