I've gotta agree with @Youssef here. I can't see that it's that different to taking up the DRP. At the end of the day it's the same consideration used to purchase shares. The only difference is that the DRP has a discount so she'll get a few more shares for the same cash value with the DRP. Which, if your going to by $250k worth of shares, is the sensible thing to do.
What's your reasoning for it being very different?
