I think he too may have realised that the worst is behind mvf now. I think the market is ascribing significantly more key personnel risk/cultural risk to the situation than exists in reality, which has resulted in the the valuation metrics for a profitable, cash generative business being far lower than they probably should be especially when growth returns.
