Personally I'm happy to keep holding WGX. Assuming they can get it all together, they should have a very nice operation going in a few years. This will take time and hard work - but seeing Directors buy big like this, gives me confidence they think it's do-able and really aligns their interests, with the share price.
You may well be right on the balance sheet/cash flow risks - I haven't checked recently, to see the detail of how they're going (I've held MLX/WGX a long, long time - not that that's any excuse, but fair to say I've become somewhat complacent with these investments). Selling off assets isn't a bad thing in this case - WGX have too many options (and have had for a while now) - they need to focus, to get their house in order. Seems to me they're doing this, albeit it slower than many would like. Principal thing IMO is to make their cash flow manageable - with so many capital developments, it's taking a heavy toll (which is expected). Short-term pain for long-term gain - but obviously they need to be able to survive, to reap the benefits.
