I'm sure you'll all join me in commiserating with 'poor' Cool Hand having to rely on only his x2 prime ministers salary.... all of us long suffering shareholders would have much preferred that his share options 'were in the money' ... alas not even close.
At first sight I wondered if the announcement was for further share sales by Dead Hand Les .... after all the SP has regained his previous sell price. No doubt the remuneration committee will be wondering what wonderful reward permutations & combinations they can invent to reward 'key personal & management' (including BOD of course) for rescuing the company from the near death experience they were responsible for .... thanks to some judicious hedging and exploration success (which must continue), the SP may further improve. If and only if the SP improves substantially more and the company re-rates, should the remuneration board even convene let alone approve any rewards or incentives.
