Executive pay across the corporate world is out of control. Remuneration is rising at astronomical rates when average salaries have stagnated. CEOs are being paid 200 time the average employee. Effectively there is no independent mechanism to regulate remuneration. Its in the interest of the super funds and institutions to support remuneration packages because its will support their own ambit claims. Retail shareholders and helpless and apathetic. The whole thing is a rort.
