Atr, agreement reached, Massi sells the shares to Proietti

After two days of difficult negotiations, the Neapolitan entrepreneur will lead the recovery of the Colonnella company. The workers have followed the evolution of the situation in the building of the Province

TERAMO - After two days of negotiations at the table of industrial relations of the Province, this evening, the two partners of ATR di Colonnella have found an agreement that should be a prelude to the revocation by the extraordinary Commissioner Gennaro Terracciano of the contract resolution communicated on October 19th and thus allowing the continuation of industrial activity according to the Plan presented a year ago when the new company Massi & Proietti took over the company.
Basically, the agreement provides for the sale of the shares of Primo Massi to Valter Proietti "or a natural or legal person indicated by them" only after, of course, the authorization of the Organs of the Procedure and of the Ministry of Development.

To get to this resolution it took two days of negotiations with the institutional mediation of President Valter Catarra and the mayor of Colonnella, Leandro Pollastrelli and the fine-tuning of delicate steps and contractual terms with the help of the technicians of the two parties also supported by the head of industrial relations of the Province, Paolo Rota.

Handshakes and visible fatigue have sealed this "pact" that could mark the start of a new era for the ATR, certainly a new management. "Now the word goes to the Ministry and of course to Valter Proietti - said Catarra that in these hours was divided between the table of negotiations and workers' protests - were intense hours lived alongside the workers and their union representatives who followed step by step with us all the moments of this long negotiation. I want to thank the two entrepreneurs because when we sat at the table their positions were distant in a sidereal manner and both showed, in the long run, patience and good will ".

Immediately after the signing of the agreement, the words of Valter Proietti: "I sincerely hope that, after this agreement obtained thanks to the precious mediation of President Catarra, the journey of the ATR will resume the path of the Industrial Plan approved by the Ministry giving a new impetus to the current phase of corporate recovery: phase in which workers also contributed. My goal is to achieve new successes in the industrial field and to include ATR in an international cluster of aerospace companies ". Sigh of relief and a heartfelt "sincere good luck" from Primo Massi, the entrepreneur, originally from Colonnella, who sold his shares to Proietti.

The Mayor of Colonnella also expressed understandable satisfaction: "An important day, the first step of a piece for the reconstruction of the carbon pole: a driving sector where there is little competition on which our territory counts a lot," said Pollastrelli.

The union representatives, Giampiero Dozzi (Uil) Antonio Liberatori (CISL) and Gianluca Di Girolamo (CGIL) are currently in assembly with the workers in the council hall of the province and have reserved to evaluate the agreement before deciding whether to withdraw the strike.
