OK, so vertical integration from the processing of raw milk to consumable or wholesale products is where you think their principle business is.

Then the farms that are owned through a convoluted structure will most likely be divested in one form or another and AHF becomes what CDC was before they acquired it, a contract processor. What that means is that at least the debt may be extinguished or on-sold as part of the farms but there wont be much, if any, capital out of them that they can redeploy towards building the proposed processing plants to cater for all categories.

As for large processors manipulating prices, dairy farms in low pollution areas and countries with no regulation on pollution, well I would not know where to start as each one of these is a substantial conversation in their own right so i wont go there.

Suffice to say, in my view AHF has seriously lost their way and that is a direct reflection on those steering the ship and no matter what business principle they choose the current incumbents are the wrong folks to be steering it.
